1. Fade Protection (This is important)
NZ has one of the highest levels of harmful UV-rays. These UV-rays are responsible only in part
for the fading occurring in homes. All our solar films eliminate over 99% of the Ultra-Violet light.
A chain of high end children's clothes shops had to throw away all the window display items after
3 weeks behind laminated glass, which blocks UV. After we applied Hüper Optik film, they simply
fold the items and place them back on the shelf. You must reduce the direct heat away from the
fabrics, leather or wood, to make a real difference.

2. Privacy
In today's living conditions, other buildings are closer, our privacy is gone, unless we live behind
closed curtains or blinds all day. Homes tend to have more glass than ever. With the use of semi-
reflective films, you can enjoy clear views outside. Daytime privacy can be achieved in most cases,
whilst keeping the rooms filled with plenty of natural daylight.

3. Temperature Control
Solar control film keeps your home cool in summer, without losing the heat in winter. Should your
home be air conditioned, you will find the units cope a lot better and save considerably on energy
costs. In The United States, some window film qualify for rebates. We carry these films here, but no
rebates are available so far.
New initiatives, such as the compulsory installation of Double Glazing will work best in conjunction
with Solar Control Film. The double layer of glass keeps the heat in, but performs badly in keeping
heat out in summer. Installing a good solar control film will keep your rooms cooler. Righthouse,
Green Building Council, Future Proof Building and others all recognise that windows are a major
source of heat loss.

4. Glare Control
Glare is the annoying part of the light that makes it difficult to watch TV, use the computer and
generally is too bright for the eyes. In some cases, people suffering from migraines find the fre-
quency of attacks greatly diminished after the installation of solar film. Window films are also an
economical solution on unusual shaped windows, and where blinds or curtains could be impractical.

５. Safety
Our range of safety films is designed to transform any ordinary glass into safety glass. This invisible
film has averted many a tragedy. All of the safety films conform to the AS/NZS2208 safety standards.
A few years ago all NZ schools had safety films fitted in areas of danger from glass breaking. This is
cheaper than replacing ordinary glass with safety glass.
6. Guarantee
All of the films we use today come with a Comprehensive Guarantee against cracking, crazing,
delamination, bubbling, peeling and discolouring. Modern films are fully metallised, without dyes that
turn purple after just a few years. On top of all that, our workmanship warranty covers you against any
defects created by our installers.
